Wastewater Treatment - Sustainability Way

`Water being a limited resource, there is an increasing concern for water and environmental quality. Pollution is a serious problem which threats springs and rivers, there being research needed on treatment and conservation. One form of wastewater treatment is the utilization of biological filters, through constructed wetlands and ponds with aquatic plants. Ponds of aquatic macrophytes and swamps play a role of filters for contaminants, helping to return clean water to the watershed.`

Nono here!!!

Nono presents a comedy program in Taiwan! He is very famous here!

Nono and his staff came to the farm to recording a program! I didn´t understand a word about what they were saying, but I think it was everything very funny, because everybody was laughing a lot!

The following picture was photographed in front of the mud hut. A mud hut is a kind of farm house in Taiwan with a history of about 70 years or more. It is a house built by the farmers by using mud, bamboos, dried grass and wooden beams. Mud is the main material to build its walls, floors and staircases, where as dry grasses are used to build the roof of the hut. Mud hut is built with several techniques, but needs to be repaired from time to time. A mud hut is basically cool during summer and warm during winter.

Arriving in Taiwan

Everything in Taiwan is so different than Brazil! It´s a completely different culture! The food tastes so new for me, that even I can´t explain! Just the traffic is the same, but there are a lot of motorcycles here.. It´s so funny! Even the elderly has motorcycle!

But, people here, especially in the farm, are so receptive that makes easier all the difference!
