Meet an interesting family in TLF

As a oversea intern, one of our responsibilities is to accompany with visitors from western countries and guide them to participate into farm's activities. It is so much fun as you can know more their culture and have chance to communicate with them to understand their living lifestyle. 

Transplanting of Malabar chestnut

The total tree seedlings planted today was 191!! 

Quite enjoyed on doing the transplanting of trees. 

The scientific name of the tree is Pachira aquatica (馬拉巴栗：Ma la ba li).

Visitors from oversea

A wonderful days to guide the visitors from oversea.

Feel great to have opportunities to guide them for visiting around the farm.

It is comfortable to get yourself in the jungle; you could relieve mind stress and may have a deep breath while you around the surrounding. Feel free to slow pacing around the bamboo jungle in our farm, you will discover different types of natural elements and various species of  living organisms in the jungle.

Kumquat Fruit

Have you try kumquat (Jin-Zao 金棗) before??? Let me introduce some informations about this kind of fruit to you all. The kumquat plant is native to South Asia region and it has been cultivated in Southern Asia, Taiwan, the Philippines and Japan. The scientific name of kumquat is Citrus margarita and belongs to Rutaceae. It is in oval shaped. It assembles like an orange but smaller size. It has a sweet taste as the skin is eaten. They are evergreen shrubs; it has 2 to 5 meters in height. The leaves are in dark glossy green while the flowers are in white colour. The tree with dense branches and it can produce dense quantities of fruits annually.

Winery Trip

Nantou city is situated in central Taiwan, the time taken from Toucheng Farm to the destination is about 4 hours long. There are many popular winery outlets in the area. In this time of trip, we had the chances to visit the winery places with Jiu Zhuang colleagues, it would enhance our knowledge to get more information about the wine making process and tasting.

I was so attracted by the beauty scene surrounding in the farm,so I just captured some photos around the farm and introduce to you all ^^ 

The front view of the farm when enter into the TLF. The building is Zhao Ri Building and which the visitors can overnight stay.

HuaLien Trip

We were so excited to join this time of trip with our colleagues to HuaLien. It took 1 hour from Yilan train station to HuaLien station by Zhi Qiang Express. Luckily it was a fine day without raining in the destination. The surrounding environment of HuaLien just nice which is surrounded by mountains and paddy fields.
