Last Day of My Half Year Intern (3 days 2 nights with Head Start School)


Day 1


Arrival from Taipei


Farm tour guided by Madam Wei. She introduced the ecology environment to the students, they were focus on the explanation by teacher. 


Ginger lily

Introduced the tea tree which origin from Australia. It is a plant for medicinal and cosmetic uses. 

Lantana camara. Like a ring wearing on my fingers ^^


Visited domesticated animal farm. Hi, little pigs!

Night observation. Light on and you can see some insects were attracted by the light and showed on the white screen. Moths, beetles, flies, and other creatures.

 DAY 2


Teamwork game. Ten people in a group and crossed the hands between each other, the faster the untied of the chain was the winner.

One of the project adventures: Whale watching, to test the balancing and need the cooperation between each other.

4 to 4 on each side to check the balancing and avoid the plate to fall down .

Winner! Good teamwork!

Next activity: to experience the rice transplanting activity.

A exact costume of dressing when going to rice paddy field. 

"I'm ready!"

Madam Wei gave a brief information about the rice paddy of our farm and its transplanting process.

Look at this golden green rice paddy field! Nice landscape~ only in TLF ^^

Prepared to go down for transplanting rice seedlings.

Madam Wei was doing the demonstration on how to transplant the rice seedlings. Three seedlings were held in hand and inserted down into the field. Move backward as you doing the transplanting.

Wow, my first try!

They were enjoying to do this kind of activity.

A machine to separate the rice and the stem of plant.

Grabbed a bunch of harvested rice paddy and get ready to separate it.

Roll the machine by feet and the rice would be fell into the inner part of the machine.,

Get ready to be harvested!

Rice can be grind to make some rice products.
Introducing the process of the planting and harvesting of rice.

Water fun. They would be going down into the river and get some fun in the stream. They needed to wear the safety vast, helmet and antiskid shoes before going down into the river.

Safety first is the one we have to think while doing this kind of activity.

The water was really cold and comfort for foot massage~

Enjoyed the pizza after finished baking.
