Toucheng Leirsure Farm 再见!!

Should old acquaintance be forgot,
and never brought to mind ?
Should old acquaintance be forgot,
and old lang syne ?

For auld lang syne, my dear,

we'll take a cup of kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.

The past 12 weeks at Toucheng Leisure Farm have been an experience I will cherish and will never forget. The image of TLF will always be imprinted in mind, with lush greenery, sound of the forest, the wildlife, the mysterious mist and cooling rain, the rare sunshine, and finally the warm individual that I got to know and be apart of TLF family.

TLF has been like a home for me in Taiwan, a home away from home. I wish the very best for TLF & the beautiful people at the farm! May God Bless them and the Farm!

TLF will be expecting another international intern in the coming months and may the future interns have a wonderful experience at the farm just as I have.

Fireflies, oh so bright!

In the month of May. it time for fireflies at Toucheng Leisure Farm! After dinner around 7.30pm, the visitors will be lead into the dark forest to catch a glimpse of these tiny bright fireflies. They may be small but they can shine bright like a diamond. Ha-ha

3D2N of fun with TES kids!

A group of kids from the Taipei European School spend 3 days 2 nights at the Farm with 3 of their chaperone teachers. Once settling down, these wide eye kids had a great time being out in nature. With the big space, the kids have all the space they want to run around.

They quickly made friend with Golden the dog and throughout their stay, Golden was a loyal friend, following them around wherever they go.  The kids got to  paint straw hats, make pizza, BBQ, set nightly lanterns up to the sky, tour around the farm, make a collage with bamboo plants parts, watched fireflies, T-shirt printing and others.

They really enjoyed feeding the goats and buffaloes and are always asking if they can go fishing. The passed 3days was tiring but eventful while spending time with these kids.
