Why the hassle?

My first job in the farm was organic farming, weed control to be exact which i was super excited about because i love being in the great outdoors =D

Little did i know.......removing weeds the organic way was back breaking. Being organic you cannot spray pesticides so we had to pull out all the weeds by hand.

The pain in my back from bending down for hours on end really got me wondering though, what is the difference between organic and modern farming? Apart from the obvious fact that organic farming gives you back pain =_= so i did some research and found the answer:

Here are the most important reasons why organic products are better:

1) Organic food tastes goooood: This is really the only reason i need =)

2) Organic farming is much better for the environment: Organic farming not only makes healthy soil but also       promotes biodiversity

3) Organic is healthier: There are no harmful chemicals used during organic farming so those pollutants do not     get into the air we breath, the water we drink or the food we eat.

Knowing these benefits the back pain was soooo worth it =))
