The experience of making rice dumplings

As the dragon boat festival is approaching, we will make our own rice dumplings annually.  Dragon boat festival is the traditional festival of China. People would celebrate it with rowing the dragon boats, eating rice dumplings and etc. 

Seeding and Explore the Farm

We planted 4 kinds of seeds like pumpkin and chili pepper. In the morning, it drizzled and hibiscus was drenched with dew but it became sunny and hot in the afternoon.
I found some insect's nest and thought its bee's, however a farm staff, Sherin told me that it was ant's!!! So surprised because I knew ants make their nest only underground.

Drama Scene in TC Farm

There is a drama series called "Mama"（’阿母‘ in chinese） had their shooting scene in TC farm! The tea house in our farm is being refurnished into a traditional style grocery store. Grab the chance to play and take photo in the traditional style of grocery store after work~~teehee xD

As a oversea intern, one of our responsibilities is to accompany with visitors from western countries and guide them to participate into farm's activities. It is so much fun as you can know more their culture and have chance to communicate with them to understand their living lifestyle.

Times flies so fast, my internship diary book already write until week 22. It's look like last week I just went to Taiwan.

Transplanting of Malabar chestnut

The total tree seedlings planted today was 191!! 

Quite enjoyed on doing the transplanting of trees. 

The scientific name of the tree is Pachira aquatica (馬拉巴栗：Ma la ba li).
