Miaow miaow!

Houtong really live up to it name as Cat Village! Once you exit the train station, you will be greeted by cats at every corner you turn. Houtong used to be an old minning hub but now only the skeleton structure of the once minning factory stood. 

What was once a minning village is now a Miaow Village. Many city dwellers flock to Houtong to visit these furry creatures as they are the star of the village. Visitors feed, play and snap photos away with these cats.

Most of these cats are well fed since many visitors brought food along to feed them. There were some dogs but in this village cats rule.

Businesses had been blooming ever since the cats came, that why the locals are forever grateful towards these cats.

Houtong is famous and just by mentioning the name of the place everyone knows you are going to see the cats of Houtong!

Inviting international student to intern with TLF!

Toucheng Leisure Farm kick off at the 2013 Spring Taipei Travel Fair Taipei Local Specialty & Leisure Food.

It was the first day of the event and the farm's booth have already seen many interested customers inquiring about the packages offered by TLF. The travel fair begin at 10.00am and last until 6.00pm from Friday until Monday.

The team from TLF started preparing their booth before the arrival of the crowds. Brochures, flyers and souvenirs were all prepared and arranged. Tables and chairs are set for those who wants to sign up for the tour package with the farm.

For the next 3 days, the Toucheng Leisure Farm's booth continue to received many visitors and many signed up with the farm's package. The farm will be looking forward to welcome these future visitors and we make sure they enjoy their stay at the farm.

Toucheng Leisure Farm will be at the the 2013 Spring Taipei Travel Fair Taipei Local Specialty & Leisure Food

The 2013 Spring Taipei Travel Fair Taipei Local Specialty & Leisure Food  will be held at the Taipei World Trade Centre from the 26th May-29th May 2013. Toucheng Leisure Farm is going to be promoting their farm stay in this event. It will be a 4 days event whereby traveling companies and agency will be promoting their tour & traveling packages and others. I will be updating about the next 4 days as I'm one of the volunteers in distributing out brochures during the event.

The biggest night market yet!

The Tainan Flowers Night Market is so far the biggest night market I ever been to. It is located on Hai-An Road of Tainan. where visitors may experience non-stop eating! This night market is one the famous night market in Tainan County.

Crowds of people flock to the night market to feast on the wide array of local Taiwan snacks from grilled seafood, oyster omelet, stinky tofu to exotic snacks such as Korean spicy rice cake, Japanese takoyaki and sushi, Indian Teh Tarik and so on.

The border of the night market offered numerous game stalls are also available including pinball, dart shooting, hoopla, basketball shooting and many others to offer an excellent venue for families and friends. 

Some shopping could be also be done in this night market as there are various stalls selling handmade accessories, groceries, stationeries, as well as trendy clothing to fulfill the different needs of each visitor.
