Houtong
really live up to it name as Cat Village! Once you exit the train station, you
will be greeted by cats at every corner you turn. Houtong used to be an old
minning hub but now only the skeleton structure of the once minning factory
stood.
What was
once a minning village is now a Miaow Village. Many city dwellers flock to
Houtong to visit these furry creatures as they are the star of the village.
Visitors feed, play and snap photos away with these cats.
Most of
these cats are well fed since many visitors brought food along to feed them.
There were some dogs but in this village cats rule.
Businesses had been
blooming ever since the cats came, that why the locals are forever grateful
towards these cats.
Houtong is
famous and just by mentioning the name of the place everyone knows you are
going to see the cats of Houtong!
